Funding

A typical scheme is funded in three parts:

1. Housing Corporation Grant
2. Capitalised rental receipts, less management and maintenance
3. Sale of part of some units (this part is capped by legal agreement so the units remain as affordable housing in perpetuity).

We deviate from this structure where a grant is not readily available and/or there is a will to retain equity and control within the local community.
